23andMe were on a new mission to reposition the brand as a leader in the health space. We focused on the power of real customer stories through the idea of the “Hero Gene.” That powerful piece of genetic code that can unlock facts about your health, and more importantly, your future. We started filming remote customer interviews to explore their personal experiences & backed them with photos and videos of their life. We also developed a brand-centric motion design language to anchor the campaign aesthetic. Our end-to-end process, from creative concept to completed execution, allowed us to go from kickoff to air in under two months.
