LOS YORK has named Lisa Zakroff partner and chief client officer, bringing an award-winning agency leader onto its executive team as the independent creative company deepens its relationships with global brands.
Lisa will oversee client partnerships across LOS YORK, collaborating with its strategy, creative, design, and production teams to unite the company’s integrated capabilities around clients’ business and brand ambitions. She will also play an important role in identifying new opportunities for LOS YORK and its partners to grow.
“Lisa brings a calming, get-it-done energy to everything she touches. She’s strategic, thoughtful, hands-on, and ambitious—all qualities that are deeply LOS YORK,” said Scott Hidinger, executive creative director and partner at LOS YORK. “Having worked with her in a past life, I’ve seen first hand how she earns clients’ trust and turns their needs into ambitious creative opportunities. I’m thrilled we’ve found each other again.”
A recent Campaign US 40 Over 40 honouree, Lisa has 20 years of experience leading relationships with brands such as Volkswagen, Target, Nintendo, Alaska Airlines, Burger King, and Hawaiian Airlines. She comes to LOS YORK from Mekanism, where she served as general manager overseeing the agency’s West Coast business.

Under her leadership, the practice created collaborations involving Netflix, Apple TV+, KATSEYE, Care Bears, and Chris Hemsworth’s Wild State, receiving recognition from the Effies, Adweek, The Drum, and New York Festivals.
“The role of agencies is changing, and LOS YORK’s design-forward, strategy-through-production model is what I hear brand teams looking for,” said Lisa. “The output speaks for itself. I’m thrilled to join a team that takes immense pride in its craft and encourages brands to commit to ambitious work.”
Earlier in her career, Lisa worked at Deutsch LA, helping lead experiential and integrated work that included a life-size dollhouse in Grand Central Terminal and a first-of-its-kind collaboration between Volkswagen, Target, and Funny or Die.
