Saltare in Giro
Motorola reasserts its position in the foldable phone market with the new Motorola Razr+ 2023. Los York's campaign features “Saltare in Giro,” a choreographed dance film set to the Italian version of the iconic House of Pain track “Jump Around.” This campaign, tagged #flipthescript, showcases the Razr’s modern design in Pantone® Color of the Year 2023, Viva Magenta, and its innovative large external display and hands-free tripod functionality.
The :60 film unfolds in an international airport, featuring a fashion-forward airport employee who reimagines lost luggage through a dynamic dance sequence. The film highlights the Razr’s hands-free video and photo capabilities.
“This is the most ambitious campaign in our five-year partnership with Motorola,” said LOS YORK’s executive creative director Scott Hidinger. “We began development last November, with a global team working over six months. This project is a significant milestone in our ongoing collaboration, which started with the Z3 in 2018.”
The LOS YORK team worked with London Alley director Courtney Phillips, known for his dynamic filmmaking style. The project also featured choreographer Noelle Marsh, Italian dancer Adriano Bettinelli, stylist Anne Marie Hoang, and cinematographer Marcell Rév.
