Amazon Kindle Turns the Page to Color with Immersive Launch Film

12.15.2025
In close collaboration with Amazon, our studio created a one minute launch film unveiling the latest generation of Amazon Kindle devices, marking the first Kindle lineup to introduce color. The film premiered at Amazon’s DBS Launch Event and was designed specifically for a live audience, balancing clarity, atmosphere, and impact.
Blending live action and CGI, the film presents the new Kindle products through a refined and tactile visual language. The approach nods subtly to past Kindle campaigns while introducing a fresh direction that reflects this major product evolution. The result is a reveal that feels considered and modern, while still grounded in the Kindle brand.

The creative process began with scripting and early ideation focused on building a narrative that could move seamlessly between physical and digital worlds. Initial concepts explored the idea of ideas blooming, which led to experiments with organic motion, color, and texture. As the project evolved, the concept pivoted toward a warm café environment that served as a natural setting for the final reveal.
A key focus of the film was immersion. Tight macro close-ups, precise transitions, and detailed sound design were used to create a subtle ASMR moment as components come together on screen. These elements were carefully synchronized to heighten the audience’s sensory experience and reinforce the significance of the reveal.

The final film delivers a clear introduction to Amazon Kindle’s newest chapter, using color, sound, and motion to create a reveal designed not just to be seen, but felt.
