In a strategic move to strengthen its creative leadership and expand capabilities, LOS YORK has brought on board acclaimed designer and creative director Jeff Lam. Formerly a creative director at TBWA\Chiat\Day, Jeff led headline-making campaigns for Gatorade and Levi’s. He was at the helm of the iconic Is It In You? relaunch and most recently created a standout Gatorade spot featuring Kendrick Lamar—marking the first time the brand has featured a musician as an athlete. He also drove several viral campaigns for the brand, including the HO77YWOOD sign for Luka Dončić and last season’s WNBA opener film, which showcased Caitlin Clark sinking rapid-fire three-pointers. After securing the Levi’s account for the agency, he launched the brand’s kinetic dance-driven campaign This Floor is Yours featuring super-producer Kaytranada.
Before his time at TBWA\Chiat\Day, Jeff served as creative director on Activision at 72andSunny, where he led Call of Duty’s most successful launch to date. Earlier in his career, he was lead art director at Wieden+Kennedy for Nike EMEA, where he worked across multiple sports disciplines and creative platforms. With over ten years of experience, Jeff has built a reputation for merging fashion, sneakers, music, culture, tech, and graphic design into distinctive, brand-defining creative for global clients.
“Jeff is a true original,” said Scott Hidinger, executive creative director at LOS YORK. “We searched far and wide for someone with his kind of vision. After hundreds of portfolios and dozens of interviews, Jeff just clicked. He brings top-tier brand experience, but also a mindset that aligns perfectly with the kind of innovative, genre-defying work we do at LOS YORK.”
“I’m beyond excited to join LOS YORK—a studio I’ve long admired for its boundary-pushing creativity and dedication to craft,” said Jeff. “As brands race to keep pace with culture, LOS YORK’s unique model—where strategy, world-class creativity, and cutting-edge production live under one (mostly remote) roof—makes us uniquely positioned to lead. LOS YORK doesn’t just respond to culture, we help shape it. I’m eager to dive in and help our clients forge bold new directions.”
Throughout his career, Jeff has led landmark creative moments for top-tier brands. His work has earned numerous accolades at premier international festivals, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, ADC, Clio Awards, and the Effies.
