LOS YORK Welcomes International Creative Director Kevin Cabuli

New nomad

The creative powerhouse behind iconic campaigns for Magnum Ice Cream, Dove, and Axe is set to enhance partnerships with Los York's brand clients, including Motorola.

Creative studio LOS YORK has been steadily expanding its creative capabilities over the years, assembling a talented team of designers, creatives, producers, editors, animators, and film directors who identify as “nomads.” This team has enabled LOS YORK to craft global advertising campaigns in collaboration with some of the world's top brands and agencies. With the recent addition of acclaimed creative director Kevin Cabuli, Los York solidifies its status as a leading independent creative studio in advertising.

Originally from Argentina, Cabuli has previously worked with Ponce, the Buenos Aires branch of MullenLowe, and Madre Buenos Aires (also known as Mother). He is a rising global talent whose work has been celebrated at Cannes and is seen across street corners and homes in the US, LATAM, Asia, and European markets. His notable projects include “Melting Icon,” “Pleasureverse,” “Miley’s Touch,” and “Mozart by Magnum” for Magnum. Cabuli also adapted Dove's “Real Beauty” to gamer culture with the “Real Virtual Beauty” campaign and created the “Axeination Centers” for Axe, promoting vaccinations as “super hot” for men looking to hook up.

It truly requires a special kind of creative to thrive here and feel at home,” said Scott Hidinger, Executive Creative Director. “We searched extensively for someone like Kevin, and I’m genuinely excited to welcome him. His work is innovative, design-focused, and trendsetting. I can’t wait to see what he brings to the table. He’s a tremendous addition.”

“I’ve been following LOS YORK for years,” Cabuli remarked. “I admit, I’ve borrowed and referenced their work in my own. Now, they’re offering me an incredible chance to transition from big agencies, where I’ve spent my entire career, to a fully independent role with a small, diverse creative team. My background includes design, art direction, photography, and film directing. At Los York, I’m eager to apply these skills and contribute to creating exciting new projects, which is exactly what LOS YORK excels at.”

A Creative hybrid

At LOS YORK, Cabuli will lead the studio’s ongoing relationship with Motorola and contribute to other brand pitches and projects. Their partnership with Motorola has evolved into a modern, close-knit creative collaboration, playfully referred to internally as LOS MOTO, providing comprehensive services from strategy to execution.
